Tom Ford
President
With over five decades of experience in accounting, investment brokerage, and real estate, Thomas S.
Ford brings a wealth of expertise to Ford Realty Company. A graduate of the University of
Mississippi with a Master’s in Accounting, Tom began his career at the international CPA firm Peat,
Marwick & Mitchell & Co., where he honed his financial and operational acumen. His background in
corporate finance and investment led him to executive leadership roles, including serving as
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of International Land Corp. and President of
Lily Flagg Corporation.
Since founding Ford Realty Company in 1976, Tom has played a pivotal role in shaping the real estate
landscape in Huntsville, Alabama. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a trusted name in
commercial and residential real estate sales, leasing, and property management. His extensive
industry knowledge and commitment to excellence have earned him leadership positions, including
President of the Alabama Chapter of the Real Estate Securities & Syndication Institute and President
of the Commercial/Investment Brokers Association of Huntsville/Madison County.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Tom has been actively involved in community service, serving as
Treasurer for the Health & Welfare Planning Council of Shelby County and holding key financial
leadership roles in the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. He is also a licensed Certified Public
Accountant, a long-standing Real Estate Broker, and a former General and Municipal Securities
Principal. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, aviation, music, and exploring new advancements in
technology.
